I must ask, what the hell do we have to do with the cartoons, now Extreamists have gone from blaming Denmark, to the West, and then to the USA ? What posses their minds to relate the americans to the Cartoons ?

Actuallt, I saw a story on this, an interview... I can see if I find the link again.

Anyway, the short version to explain some of the mystery:
The subject of the interview was an arab merchant. He said that when the story about the cartoons broke back in september/october last year, he knew there would be trouble so he started to stock up on danish flags. And when the norwegian paper re-published the cartoons, he ordered some norwegian flags as well. (Probably made in China the lot of them.) So when the demonstrations started and the flag-burning began it wasn't difficult for protesters to get their hands on the flags, and the merchant has made quite a profit on the whole thing. And he's probably not the only one to have seen this comming.

Egypt and Jordan both have treaties with Israel. I don't believe Saudi Arabia does, but I could be mistaken. Syria is a constant threat to Israel. Hell, for years they've been mortaring across the border after all. They're a haven for terrorists. A real shame considering they have the oldest constantly inhabited city in the world. I'd love to visit it.
