US probably... at least I think that's usually how it is. I think that's because we tend to throw more money at helping people train.

No. If you give gold medals the most value, germany gets in first. If its equal value, Norway is first.

Thread title: "Who will win the most medals." I say Norway. Although I agree, if we're talking the most Gold medals, either Germany or.. maybe the US if we're exceptional. Otherwise, for total overall, Norway.

That's the Biathlon(sp) me thinks.
I just remembered about the Aussie speed skater in the last Winter Olympics who won gold...only after the rest of the skaters all crashed out on the last turn or whenever it was. Sometimes it pays to be deadset last and way out of contention:cool:

During the '02 Olypmics in Salt Lake I got to Kazakstan's women hockey team play Canads. It was kind of one sided, but they had a phenominal goalie.

She was the one who was doing the most work on that team by the sounds of it. Bound to get good sooner or later if you're having the puck belted at you every 30 seconds:p

I'm guessing you're thinking about biathlon, also known as "Norwegian Drive-by"? :)
