I think it should have gone to France. We Brits are terrible at nationalised construction projects (Millennium Done, new Wembly, and so on), and it'll cost a huge amount. Then again, all those rich Londoners will be paying for it... :-)

Kettlewell! I want to see all those athletes fit into the 5 house we've got up here, and try to do track adn feild on the moor.

Being a Brit I would have voted London- i'm a fencer at heart and my coach says with a ton of effort and a bit of money...who knows, i could be there...pretty unlikely but...;)

You know that island where they kill everyone who gets near? The one off the cost of India?
Yeah, I want to hold them there. We'll get to see how good the ahletes are with javelins and shot-puts in the real world.

ah, another fencer! do go for it though. it may take 4 days a week of practice, but you never know. . . .
besides, you could get in on a technicality. i made the u.s. junior olympic championships simply because there weren't enough people in my age group.
