Welcome ladies and gentlemen to this years Olympic Games in Torino Italy. Here we will be keeping tabs of all the sports with scores and who won what medal.

Italy, I believe is 6 hours infront of us here on the East Coast of North America so if you do not want to know results before hand, do no proceed further when the games begin.

Today though is dedicated to the Opening Ceremonies which are scheduled for 800 PM estern so call it 2PM eastern for when the ceremonies actually take place. If this is incorrect please correct me :)

Good luck to all the nations and athletes in this year's Olympics.

We're getting a nice bit of live coverage here in Japan. Some stuff is being broadcast on tape delays, including some live stuff (ie it's being broadcast live and then rebroadcast later).

The I liked the Opening Ceremonies alright. Cows on Ice was hilarious and the Ferrari was fun.

I got to watch Canada wallop the Italians 16-0 at noon instead of 4 am. That was just sad. I understand there's been some criticism against Canada for running up the score.

The US Finland women's hocky ought to be the best game of the prelim round, as both teams have yet to be scored on. (Sweden scored on Canada!)
