According to some of the stuff I've heard and read about meditation it is, but I've never put any serious effort into it. I don't know if it can be done or not.

whay exactly do you mean by nothing? do you mean as in to be a lazy git or as in to be able to stare blankly into space without urges or comoulions

Even if you're dead, you can't "do nothing" because you'd still be existing. Or you could become a zombie, which is always more interesting anyway.

Depends on how you see 'nothing' as. To some, it would mean anything productive (don't get all smart-alecky on me), but to a degree still doing something. So its all on perspective.

Maybe. I'm practicing, though. Maybe one day I will learn. But I know one thing, I won't quit trying to learn.

Possibly. I have a natural talent for it, though. My daughter, however, doesn't and it requires real effort for her. With time and practice, though, she should be able to do nothing for longer than 5 minutes before having to do something.

I don't think it's possible to do nothing. You're always doing something, even if it's involuntary.

well, to me, nothing is really something, because when you do nothing, that still is something, just nothinig. so, in my mind, its possible to learn nothing.
