C'mon, we all know that Farscape is the only original show Sci-Fi ever aired that was worth watching.

Surely you meant to write "babylon 5" there ;) ?

Granted, but the new Battlestar Galactica is, in my not-so-humble opinion, one of the best shows on TV right now.

And I just had a thought. Moya runs into the Galactica. Creighton and Starbuck would either (A) attempt to beat the crap out of each other, or (B) get it on (assuming that Moya and crew were plucked from the appropriate season, of course), and either possibly after Starbuck teaches Creighton to fly a Viper. With those two, there's just no middle of the road at all.

I didn't like it much either. I don't like Battlestar Galactica much, either.
Generally, since I don't watch a helluva lot of tv, I hate shows that have a main running theme where you have to allocate a certain time of day every week to keep up with the ongoing story, or you're lost.
I never saw the mini series before the first season. I have no idea what the hell that illusionary blonde chick is about. I can't follow a lot of junk, so I don't bother watching.

SG-1. Self-contained shows that you can watch whenever you like, and it's interesting. There may be a minor underlying theme and direction the show is taking, but you can watch each episode alone, and they're great!

Relating to the opening post, I'd have to go with 'smeg'. Red dwarf simply rules.
It's a bit silly that all those writers have to think up new explitives just to avoid saying fuck though.

I'd thought of that, but Firefly was originally aired on Fox so I maintain internal consistancy. ;)

Myrth!

My reasoning is as follows:

We are currently in a situation where significant numbers of people in the world are hostile to the west, I'm sure that nobody in their right mind would disagree with this point. The logical follow on to this is that action must be taken, again, I feel I have everyone's support here.

Now, to divert briefly I'm sure that you will support me in saying that murdering and eating babies is wrong unless you have a very good reason. Also, the number of criminals on the streets is increasing and we need to find ways to lower the number.

Can any of you stand there and tell me that you support brutally torturing innocent people to death for no reason? Can you? No, of course you can't.

My friends, for all of the reasons that I have just outlined I urge you to vote for Myrth.

I mean, I like the current series quite a bit. But that doesn't erase the horrid second (?) season of the first series. (The one where they reach earth.)

I'm a bit disappointed in how lousy the Cylons seem to be at shooting though. But it might all be part of that 'plan' they supposedly have.

Babylon 5 was not originally aired on Sci-Fi. And they didn't make the Rangers series like they should have.

So Farscape by a wormhole!:)
