Case of nerves.

In just a few minutes, I go to find out the results of my PSA test. I'm about as nervous as I ever get, which is to say, not much. Pray for me anyway, if you do that sort of thing. BBL.

Prayer works for me. Then again, I might be considered old school. Just remember, a low PSA score doesn't mean you're really in the clear - only a biopsy can really tell for sure.

Don't worry yourself. I've got a feeling you'll be ok.

I'm going to have to claim ignorance. What is a PSA test?

Prostate Specific Antigen. It's a substance that is usually presnt in the bloodstream that is present in larger quantities in patients with prostate blockages. The most well-known and feared blockage is prostate cancer.

Eutrusca had surgery for prostate cancer and he's hoping that the PSA count is low as that is a strong indicator that they got all of it.

I don't think he has anything to worry about. He's too mean to die young. He'll live to be 130. :)

Ah ha. I do remember when he had the surgery. Now I understand.

Good luck!

well good luck hope it goes well for you (I know its bloody scary waiting for test results for things) but remember the human body is a lot more resilient then you might think (especially if your sure you will get better (don't ask me why but positive thinking/faith/whatever does seem to do something don't know why))

My younger son was going to drop me off at the doctor's office on his way to an appointment, but his car is having problems. My youngest daughter will be driving me over closer to my 1:45 doctor's appointment, so you're all stuck with me for awhile longer! Mwahahaha! :D

Not to put too fine a point on it, Eut, but I think most of us would just as soon be stuck with you for a good long time yet. :) Your company is, and ever has been, most entertaining.

But yeah, good luck to Eut. I haven't had a chance to get to know him well yet, he'd better stick around.

LOL! Possibly not. I don't suppose he would like me trying to get all the angels to march in formation. :D

BTW ... my PSA hasn't changed ... still almost zero. The doctor was very cautious ( as all doctors are ) and said that he would prefer if it were "completely zero," but he gave me a prescription for Cialis. That tells me something anyway. :D
