I need poetry...

I'm writing a story based on the nursery rhyme "Who killed cock robin?" and I need some poetry.
I'm starting out each chapter with a 4 line poem, and there will be small inner poems within the story. I need a poem (that rhymes!) about an unrequited love and the sorrow it brings, with possible reference to the dove from the story.
Could anyone come up with something for me? It needs to be about 4 lines and it has to rhyme.
Here's the specifics:
Main character: the Dove. Very depressed about an unrequited love, and eventully will stop talking to people. She is in love with the cock robin.
Other characters: The Sparrow: The dove's sister, very protective, and very violent. Kills cock robin when he spurns dove.
The Lark: Sparrow and Dove's mother. Drunk quite often.
The Cock robin: bit of an ass, but for the most part clueless. Killed by sparrow.
The Wren: Love interest of Cock Robin. Does not die.
Anyone who's familure with the rhyme is welcome to help me.
Thanks!

So far I have these:
"The dove's hopes died
She chose her path
Her flapping wings lay still
Drenched in scarlet, there they lay
Cheeks gone pale and chill"
A blatent Silent Hill rip off.
And this one:
"Who is the sparrow?
A hunter with her bow and arrow
She caused the hopes to die in the dove
When she cruelly murdered her one true love."

Oh my gentle love,
lovely Cock Robin.
Without you I'm a lonely dove,
seeking his Cock Robin.
I think I've established my place in Art is that of an audience.
sorry

Which age group is it aimed at?
Is it intended for mass publication?
Do you have a buyer?
What would be the 'cut' of royalties? Or are you thinking flat-fee?
Or... do you just want 'free' poetry?
Off the top of my head
Alone this dove sits and dreams
A love so true now gone forever
Shattered hopes and tortured reverie
A love this dove could never sever
Should the day come and Cock Robin never wake
Death is an embrace so grand and pure
All Cock Robin could ever love was a mistake
Of that Cock Robin is sure
Cock Robin regretting bliss
Cock Robin's heart is breaking
Cock Robin and Cupid's miss
Cock Robin love haft forsaken
I haven't editted it too much but I hope that helps at least.

The Cock Robin is well endowed
Hence the name of which he’s proud
He banged the Lark, he humped the Wren
But neither would let him in again
Along came the Dove
Looking to give him love
He took her too
But left after he dropped his goo
To the white bird's chagrin,
She wished she had been a lesbian

Cock Robin, thou art dead.
Wherefore didst thy arms ne'er hold me?
Wherefore, indeed! And now I cry...
The chance of love fled with thy soul...
On wings of Sparrow's angry might.
