Before the flaming begins, I'm not talking about Cuban immigrants. I understand them wanting to get out of a country that's that poor. I'm talking about the general impression I've picked up that Cuba is evil and Fidel's a *****.

So, here's my question, what has Fidel done, or not done, that merits this? I honestly have no idea, and would like to.

Oh, and more more thing. "Oh Noes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 he's a c0mmie n00b!!!!!1" will not be even considered.

Castro lied to the Cuban people basically. he said he overthrow an opressive goverment and then formed his own. He took alot land away from the people.

My grandpa had a nice big farm in Cuba and was making money. castro comes in and takes it away with alot of his money and boom. Tell me. would you like that?

Quite frankly, no I would not. As I said, this was merely sparked by a lack of knowledge on my part, not by any desire to defend Castro.

The only problem I have with Cuba is it's so damn expensive to get to from England...
