No, no the movie. Real life anger.
So, i think i may have anger problems. it wasn't directly over football, but i was prepared to punch someone over something i cannot control.
query:
1.) should i get anger management?
2.) has anyone had it? or relatives/friends/guy who kicked the sh*t out of you in a bar?

You can't manage anger, but you can focus it.

well, if art or music aren't your speed, try a competitive videogame or some intense physical activity that has a definite purpose, but is entirely violent (chopping wood, shoveling snow, pushing a buick out of a ditch)

If you didn't punch someone you wanted to punch, you practised anger management. Repeat as necessary.

only on NS: we can take anger and make it pushing a buick out of a ditch
really: has anyone had success w/ anger management?

Hey, it worked for me, seriously.
Flashback six and a half years to High school prom, I am rejected by the girl I've crushed on for a couple of years. Upset and inconsolable, I walk home instead of taking the bus, and happen upon my friend Darrel and company, their buick firmly embedded in a muddy culvert. I help, it takes about fourty five minutes for six people to do it, and at the end, I have no anger left. It all got drained on the left rear fender.

I don't get mad very often. I'd say I'm pretty layed back, but when I do get mad I just get pissed. My ex gf and my dad are the main sources, and things in my room (my wall, my door, and other things) end up breaking. I don't think I need anger management for all the times I get upset, just the times when I really get pissed off. It does take a lot to get me that bad though.

I have had some success.
The first thing I believe you need to understand is what caused you to be angry.
What part did you play in the circumstance that caused you to be angry?
How important is it?

I used to get very angry and violent, bio-feedback therepy helped, a little, now I get very angry and then decide not to be and it goes away. ;)
I find that writing long, angry and largely nonsensical manifestos helps me focus my anger.
That and pwning n00bs in whatever game I'm currently into.

When I have issues with anger, I go outside and beat the tar out of my punching bag... that is until I broke the chain with a really good hit. That type of activity works good if you want to just vent steam, not to mention that if you do it regularly for the fun of it, you get a nice work out.

Little advice, don't.

I clicked all four poll choices, even though some were contradictory and may skew your results. How does that make you feel?

I do that. When I am angry, or depressed, or whatever I write it all down, whatever I feel even if it's "socially unacceptable" I used to write it down then tear it up and burn it, but now it all goes in my blog, needless to say people all over the world think I am psychotic now (they could be right)
