It's that time of the year, boys and girls. This is a no holds bar vote for who you think is going to win the Superbowl.

It's something like 6:23 EST...something weird. Official coverage begins around 6 ESP but then they have to do the introductions and the National Anthem and stuff.

As for my vote, as a student at Pitt, and since my 49ers have been out since like September, I gotta go with the Steelers, but I think it's going to be close. 24-21 perhaps.

Me.

By not watching. I win!

I'll catch the highlights on the News, but I plan on escaping into Mike Wallace's latest book this evening.

I'm not watching it either--no tv reception. I'll probably follow it online, but I can't say I'm all that bothered by it overall. That's what happens when you're a Saints fan and your team has no chance of ever playing in the Superbowl.

I'm going out on a limb for Seattle.. they're underdogs according to the oddsmakers, but I think they have a good shot.

If you don't watch it there's no reason to open this thread...

The Steelers had this won before the game even started. If Big Ben didn't have a fractured thumb, it would've been a total blowout. His pass strength and accuracy were off because of it.

I actually watched it (ended at 4 am here) just to see what the fuss is all about. I still don't get it.

The game itself was pretty bad, both teams played horribly, but the Colts v Steelers and the Bengels v the Steelers games were some of the best games I've ever watched.

You have to follow the season.

Ben Roethlisberger wins a Super Bowl in his second year as a Pro. Jerome Bettis finishes his career in his hometown with a ring, Hines Ward gets the MVP with a great performance, and Bill Cowher gets to hand the Lombardi trophy to Mr. Rooney.

Great stuff, if you ask me.
