I agree about the holding call, not sure on Roth's TD(edit-not certain, but I personally don't think the ball was in). Steelers played well(edit-scratch that, made a couple good plays) and I'm happy for em.

The game didn't suck. But yeah the stones sounded horrible, poor old dudes. I almost felt sorry for them, but then I remembered how rich they are. But kudos to them getting their old asses up there, I'd rather hear em bad than hear lip syncing.

The Steelers did play badly, with the exception of a few big plays. But they did NOT beat Seattle. Seattle was beaten by their dropped passes, and some terrible calls by the officials.

I can't wait for the game tomorrow, i think Pittsburgh will beat Seattle by about 20 points.

I was watching Scotland v France in rugby this afternoon. 40 minutes of near non-stop action, 10 minute half time break, 40 minutes of near non-stop action. Way more interesting, less faff.

but it perfectly fits the merkan mindset. you know how people are always going on about our lawsuit happy culture? it's because we like getting into disputes about legalistic minutiae. if there was too much action, we'd get bored from not getting a chance to loudly debate the fine points of whether or not the ball crossed the plane of the goal line before it hit the ground behind it.
