No werewolves, lycans, gnolls, or other dog-people :(

Also is it necessary to capitalize every word in your post?

Fantasy, Not Sci Fi.

Fantasy (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=fantasy): Fiction characterized by highly fanciful or supernatural elements.

Klingons sound highly fanciful (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=fanciful) to me. Maybe you think they are a scientific possibility, but I don't.

Gnolls And "Dog-People" Fall Under Goblinoids. Werewolves And Lycans Are Diseased Forms Of These People, So They Don't Exactly Count As A Race. And Yes, It Is Necessary. Don't Ask Why.

Edit: GNOLLS! Not Lycans!

Also, the poster seems to think Fantasy == Dungeons and Dragons. Dungeons and Dragons is a type of fantasy, but there is more to fantasy than d&d.

Well, The Traditional Fantasy, Not Science Fantasy. Ok?

Panserbjørne cuz there aint nothin cooler than armoured polar bears(except for the fact that real polar bears are semiaquatic and 500 pounds of meteoric iron would create certain unique challenges to their lifestyle)

I hate elves. Useless, especially compared to humans.

If it was to include Sci-fi, I'd say droids. As it stands, I'll go with humans.

Dwarfs

mainly because I'm rather like one, (angry, bearded, like to hit things with axes, like the dark, like being underground, like solid, hate elves like the pointy eared arrogant scum they are (come here legolass I've got an axe with your name on it boyo), I also keep my grudges).

The main differences from dwarfs and me are the fact that i'm tall and that I don't like beer (more of a cider/perry/spirits drinker myself) oh and I can't quoff....

Right can't stand about here and chat all day gold to mine, elves to kill you know how it is.

Right now lads who knows the Hi HO song....

Dwarves all the way. Just the dwarven fury and the tearing into your enemies and laying about you with a massive axe... you can keep your poofy elves with their poncy ears and hair - come on, who wants some loser that minces around with a bow - coneniently out of the battle

Draconians. They're humanoid dragons. They own.

Kobolds are fey, not goblins. ;)

I've only seen them like this:

(Neverwinter Nights)
http://nwn.bioware.com/_global/images/news/creature_kd_thumb.jpg

(Warcraft III)
http://warcraft.czechgamer.com/obrazky/kobold.jpg

Since the poster seems to be talking about D&D, the former would be more accurate. Of course, that makes them reptilians, not goblinoids.

Oh, can I get a basic description of what Mind Flayers are? I don't think I've heard about them.

In the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, illithids (originally known as mind flayers) are monstrous humanoid aberrations with psionic powers. They live in the moist caverns and cities of the enormous Underdark. They believe themselves to be the dominant species of the multiverse (see Spelljammer), and use other intelligent creatures as thralls, slaves, and cattle.
