What for? I've got a tenner says spam :p
Anyway, I hang out at a couple of Wheel of Time forums and the forums at fantasy-writers.org although NSGeneral has recently begun consuming most of my time.

I used to go on roleplaying forums, but no longer.
To be honest I used to be a little intimidated by the level of debate on Nationstates and lurked for a long time but didn't post. I think i've matured a bit since then so feel more confident that I won't make a fool out of myself *so* often.

I hang out regularly on three forums in addition to NS General.
Religious Forums: http://www.religiousforums.com/
Religious discussion forums, obviously.
RPGCodex: http://www.rpgcodex.com/
A place full of xenophobic, vitriolic, elitist bastards where people are greeted with gratuitous insults and badly disguised links to goatse and tubgirl. There's even a goatse stereogram! And we discuss RPGs sometimes, too.
KemetOnline!: http://www.kemetonline.com/
Forums for Kemetics and others to meet and discuss modern Kemetic religion and Ancient Egypt. Sponsored by Per-Ankh.

That's something to do with an error with my account. Dunno why, but it's happened to a couple of others as well. It means I can't edit my own posts either, which sucks, but I really can't be bothered making another account
I've probably got a post count of like 2000 - I had about 700 before I had the problems. Just no one notices me ;)
I'm on about half a dozen motor racing forums.

Other than NS and NS-related forums, the only one I hit -- and lately, only very rarely is Offtopic (http://www.offtopic.com). Interestingly, that's the only place where I go by a user name that's not some permutation of Cluich.

Yeah, when the forums went down here, I checked out some other ones. Not only were they less interesting, the people were so innocent there. Only in a bad way. If innocence can be bad.

lightfighter.net
Unless you're current or prior military with combat experience that they can verify, or are current or prior law enforcement, it's an extremely unfriendly forum to post in.
It's a good source for information on what's going on in various combat theaters, but those parts of the forum are restricted to people whose identities and backgrounds are verified.
There are a few bona fide anti-terrorism experts and operators who post on the forums there.

ah the trekweb. never dared to go on there. my knowledge of star trek is too limited (only watched the movies, was never really into the shows, but next gen. was good however) too busy being sucked into my NES at that time to watch. Fuckin Tecmo Super Bowl......

I always thought it would be riddled with people that if you couldn't write fanfiction in your sleep then you are useless to them.

I'm a member of www.depressionforums.org, but only use it very occasionally. I signed up during one of my dark days a few months back, but luckily those are not that common.
Played about with a few others briefly, but NS is still the only one I especially life. The others didn't strike me as having any type of "community" as such.
