DETROIT- The Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is planning to layoff 30,000 Jews on the company workforce in order to evoke the spirit of the late Henry Ford, founder of the company. Their product strategy has been crap for years now, and they failed where Toyota and others didn't. They went with the market, they went with demand and they produced what people wanted.

Ford on the other hand stood on the side, waiting for government handouts anc complaining about labour costs.

Oh, it's real.. the government contracted Ford's corporate office to survey and catalog the jewish population back in the '30s, so they have all the serial numbers and everything.. whenever Ford faces layoffs, they always start with their employees listed in the Jewish Registry, as per Henry Ford's will.. it's probably unconstitutional, but no one has had the courage to question Ford. :(

I do remember from my history course that Henry Ford was not the least anti-semetic of business tycoons, but I don't know about the validity of the statement... I wouldn't doubt it without proof though.

Well, naturally they won't admit it.. they claim that they discarded the Jewish Registry in the late '50s, but countless ex-employees say it's still in use, and is updated semi-anually. :(

a) People who buy pickup trucks are a bit too fruity for me...;)

b) Obviously it's not making the money it is supposed to make. To me, the F150 is a symbol of a product strategy that is outdated and unsuccessful. The Japanese build small cars with hybrid engines, Ford builds V6-engined SUVs. The Japanese get 400 bHP out of a 2l-inline four and put it into the most nimble cars on the planet, Ford brings out Mustangs with less power and ridiculously oversized engines which have trouble making it through a race with an Evo IX without getting lapped.

Wow. There are still people here who are not sure wether it's real or fake.
