I just opened up a fortune cookie and it had no fortune inside. Is my life about to take a turn for the unpredictably chaotic? Am I going to die? What does this mean?

Actually, in response to its growing environmental problems related to ongoing industrialization, China has developed an "Earth-friendly" stance on fortune cookies called "cookie pooling".
