Harlesburg

I have been sitting on a Learners Licence for nearly 3 years now and i am pretty sure it expires in March specifically the day America placed a certain ultimatum at the feet of Saddam.

Basically i can't be arsed but if i don't do it, it is $180 wasted as i have to start from scratch.

But then i might as well

Questions are.....

1)Should i go for the next stage so i can drive all by myself?
2)Do you have a Drivers licence?
3)When did you get it?
4)Why don't you have one?
5 Why don't i have one?
D) ?
9)Seeing as i havent driven in 6 months could i possibly pass the restricted licence in 45 days?
B) Will this be a smilie face?
7)How long before you sit the test do you have to wait to register?
&)Why doesn't 5 have a ) ?
3)How far can you hit a golf ball?
9)What type of car would i drive?
10)What type of car would you drive?
11)Who is Registered?

EDIT!
Registered is a mysterious person i am meant to know (On the Internet)but i don't know who it is exactly and they won't say who they are, ona nother forum.

If you've had a permit for three years, then you're probably eighteen at least, and know how to drive, yeh? I dunno about New Zealand, but here you could just go to the DMV, take the test, pay your $40 and get your license.. no permit required. But maybe the system is different there? Probably not too much different though, I'd think.

Everywhere else but in the States of America, licenses are to get. Why? American's need their cars. There is no public transportation. Here, in Finland, its a real pain. Or everyone's just terrible drivers. I learned on a stick on a weekend. I dunno.

Do you need a license Harlesburg?

1) Yes.
2) Yes.
3) Last summer.
4)´I actually have one.
5) I thought you did.
D)
9) Um...sure.
B) Will this be a smilie face? No.
7) Sit tests? What?
&) Dunno.
3) Pretty far. After focusing my driver-foo.
9) Something crappy. Probably more practical than sweet. Are you reading this?
10) I drive a '95 Supercharged! Buick Rivera, my baby, no one elses! STAY AWAY!
11) Is that a proper noun?

I am 22....

I guess our system is a bit different then, as Mariehamn said.. here, you don't need a permit unless you're under 16.. you usually get it at 15 and on your next birthday or thereabouts, you take the test.. however, you need to be 21to get a Class A license, for commercial vehicles and haz.mat.

Do you need a license Harlesburg?
By that I mean:

Do you need to drive a car to go about your daily life and generally enjoy yourself? Because I sure do. If you've gone 6 months without driving, I doubt you need one.

I thought you did, sorry lol.

Yea, I love the trains. So fuckin' reliable. Since it's the holidays I've been catching the J'vill train a lot out to gf's house. It's good and easy.

I got my learners about 3 weeks ago. Mainly because I want to be able to drive somewhere for 7th form new year.

It is pretty handy to be able to do that.

stop with the stupid questions and go get your license.

once you get it, you have it and you never have to take the test again as long as you keep getting it renewed. you never have to actually DRIVE again but its good to be able to do so legally if the need arises

besides what if you find yourself in the spot of having to drive some amazing young woman somewhere? what is she going to think when you have to say "oh im sorry i cant, i dont have a license"?

she is gonna think "well i guess the NEXT guy i ask will be able to fill all my needs" and drop you.

that would be such a tragedy

I got my license when I was 16, although I had already been driving for 4 years at that point (illegally for most of it), I really have to have a car, my kids have places to go, and I am not taking them on the bus that doesn't even have seatbelts, much less any way for me to buckle in their car seats. That and the fact that the closest place we go is over 9 miles away and way too far to walk. ;) I probably don't need the SUV, but it gets about the same milieage as my Buick did and it holds more groceries.
