OK what relationship is more wrong?
Benjamin Braddock and Mrs. Robinson
or
Paul Finch and Stifler's Mom.
I say Benjamin and Mrs. Robinson. It was just twisted as she was married and then when Benjamin fell in love with Elaine it got even wierder. I love the ending of that film when he rushes into the church. ("Family Guy" did a great parody of it.)
The relationship in American Pie is less perverted (but still perverted.) It is a parody though of "The Graduate." Remember when Stifler's Mom/the MILF said "Paul Finch, you're trying to seduce me." That was a play on Braddock's "Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me, aren't you?" Then of course they play the Simon and Garfunkel song in "American Pie." The song was written for "The Graduate."
And here’s to you, Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know
(Wo wo wo)
God bless you, please Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
(Hey hey hey – hey hey hey)
