Ducks not Mighty anymore

ANAHEIM, United States (AFP) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced they will officially shorten their name to the Anaheim Ducks at the start of the 2006-07 season.
The National Hockey League organization also is evaluating possible changes to its logo, identity and uniforms.
Inspired by the Disney movie of the same name, the Mighty Ducks entered the league in 1993 and horrified hockey purists with their unusual moniker which was the brainchild of former Disney chairman Michael Eisner.
However the name struck a chord with youngsters across North America as Mighty Ducks merchandise became a hot seller.
But the Disney legacy eventually crumbled as a result of poor teams and a half empty arena on most nights.
The team was purchased in 2005 by new owner Henry Samueli, who hopes to not only revamp the team's identity but build a contender.
The Mighty Ducks made their first postseason appearance in 1997 and advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2003, taking the eventual champion New Jersey Devils to a deciding seventh game.

What would install more fear in a team?
I would tihnk it would be Mighty Ducks instead of Ducks.
Sure they lost Kariya and so they pretty much suck but ew look out here are the ducks.

I think it sucks more than The Ducks themselves.
