ho do you spell really ?

Depends who you ask. There's more than one Chinese dialect (in fact, lots) and they all differ a little from each other.

My mother is Cantonese and my father is Hokkien. :)

Happy New Year!

Why can't we have a calendar based on the Moon, too? And then state on our calendar everyday that a solar year goes by... that would be nice.... Make more sense, too.

The origin of Origami is in dispute whether it's Japanese or Chinese. :)
Folding paper isn't a big thing with us Chinese.

All you need to know is your date of birth. :)but that exactly is the point, how can i really be sure about the date of my birth? i have to rely on other peoples reports, because i cannot remember it myself.

That would mean you were born around 1988, 1976 or 1964.

I think it would be safe to say that traditional origami originated in China, simply because the origin of paper can be traced to China.

"Modern" origami's origins would be firmly in Japan, attributed to Akira Yoshizawa's system of codifying diagrams.

Yes, I'm an origami nut.:D
