They normally go by invite only (like Gmail), but are giving out accounts until the end of the month.

I have one, but damn, what do you do with 30gb of email? Suggestions?? It seems like a whole new world, I'm sure some of your NSers have some good ideas.

p.s. (if you are stuck in 2005 put up your email and I'll send a Gmail invite)

With that much space, use it as data storage.

I already have a terabyte sized account. Use to be a 100 terabytes, but I think you know why that's illogical.

How on earth?!?! Who was your email provider?

I know how to do that with Gmail. There are a few nifty programs. But when data amounts get that high... you want a program that can track upload progress as it goes, like FTP kind of. Not sure how I'd do that with this new account.

How on earth?!?! Who was your email provider?I'm not going to tell you. Then everyone would want a free terabyte sized account. I'll you this though. The site is based out of California.

30gb of storage? Free data backup storage then.

Just why? Why would anyone need more than 100...I'll give you 250...heck 500MB of email storage (for those pictures the in-laws always send)? Data backup? Don't they make devices for that that aren't on some server who-knows-where?

Given your past history, I'm inclined to say you're misleading us.

Thanks for the link. I now have around 40 gigs of email I'll never possibly fill up...lol.

ROFL. I have 200 gigs, and I recently bought a DVD burner to help me move stuff off the drive faster. My sister has about 1.5 TB worth of burned CDRs. Trust me, when you begin downloading entire television shows (especially those with more than 5 seasons), your free space just disappears ;P.

Also, yes the 1 TB stuff does seem valid, though I haven't signed up, as I don't need offsite data storage, much less 1 TB of email ^_^;.

Next step: 1 Petabyte RAID!!! ;P
