One foot in the grave? Who's next?

This is mostly for fun, but since superstition about this kind of thing seems to run rampant (I don't know how many times I've been "reminded" that old filmstars die off in groups of threes, e.g.), I wouldn't mind hearing those too.. so place your bets.. which famous actor will be the next to buy the farm? :p

*Poll coming*

Disclaimer: Morbid or not, the fact remains that an entire crop of familiar and memorable actors are on their way out of this world.. before taking offense, consider that it might be equally worthwhile in some way to appreciate the work of these actors before they die than it would be afterward.

Not completely on topic, but Johannes Rau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Rau) died yesterday.

We've had a few go recently.. Shelley Winters was around 86, and Charles Bronson last year.. Chris Penn the other day, but thankfully those kinds of early ends are relatively unusual.

I going with George Kennedy, mainly because he is a Kennedy and the Kennedys seem to have the worst luck ever.

Well.. he isn't one of *those* Kennedies, I don't think.. but you could be right.. I just saw him on PBS a couple months ago, and he looked pretty animated, but you never know..

Only a few... he still gets around.. I think everyone on the list, including The Mick, still work, except for Glenn Ford and Joey Bishop.. could be that a good work schedule keeps you vital, or maybe causes too much stress.. probably depends on the individual.

When I looked up Abe Vigoda on IMBb to check his age for this thread, I saw that there's a plug-in for Firefox (maybe IE too) that updates every few minutes and displays whether Abe Vigoda is alive or dead... kinda funny.. he's got a following I guess, and uses it in his comedy pretty extensively.

Edit: I guess he incorporated it into his act when People magazine declared him dead in 1982.. :p
