Sorry if anyone feels this is a waste of time, I'm just curious. I understand people having quotes from (random famous person / another member / a film / whatever), that's fine. But what does, e.g.,

"Political Compass and Moral Politics Test Standings
Economic Left/Right: -10.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -10.00
Moral Order: -8.0 Moral Rules: +5.0"

mean? which end is each scale (i assume 1-10+/-)?

Partly cos i'd like to add my own one on the end of my posts, but don't want to get it completely the opposite of what I actually think... :confused:

PS also how do you actually do it?

a) it's called a signature, sig for short. you find the option to edit it in your profile (link to that is to be found in the very upper left-hand corner of an NS forum site)

The are two tests that give you a basic idea of were you stand politically and then they graph your results. The tests can be found here (http://www.moral-politics.com/xpolitics.aspx?menu=Moral_Dimensions&action=Draw&choice=MoralDimensions.Moral_Order) and here. (http://www.politicalcompass.org/) They explain what your results mean.

Eenyways, as you see also got the other 'find out your poitical position' thing, puits me closer to what I expected (democratic socialist, tending more towards social liberalism). Dunno if that means the Political Compass thing is flawed or actually more truthful.
