On HGTV, they build a house each year....a dream house, and give it away to some lucky person. They have a site planner who gets to travel all over and find gorgeous places to build these houses.I think that person has a pretty cool job.

I don't know that I could find a job I would enjoy more than the one I have--I really like teaching. Of course, ask me in two weeks when I'm slogging through 45 papers that all reach varying levels of suckitude and I may have a different answer.

Well they are on the payroll all year long. I guess they stay busy taking photos and showing them to the powers that be, gathering info like how much are permits, property taxes, basic research I suppose.

Maybe its not the dream job.....maybe I just want the houses.

file clerk.........really..I could be in a room in a basement all day, talk to nobody and organize stuff for 8 hours a day.........yep, that's my dream job, I applied for various file clerk positions, but they always say the same thing "you are over qualified, and would be bored"

how the heck do I explain to them that I don't want to do what I am qualified to do, it requires talking to people, and 90% of the time they are stupid......I hate stupid people........come on, just put me in a room with no windows and papers stacked up to the ceiling that are in need of being filed away.........

There was one of those floating homes that looked like an owl, one of the ones we did was built around a Pullman train car. My favorite was a big galley that was positioned next to a junk, so it looked like a still life of the opium wars.

I want to live on a boat.

Well, my dream job is the one I'm going for, and that's to teach French at the university level. However, my real dream job (at least for a few years) would be to teach English in France, or Switzerland. Assuming I can crap out enough money I'll be going to Angers, France to study next fall semester.

I actually never bring a camera. But the producer was taking pictures like crazy. I eventually had to tell her, "Stop taking my soul!!!"

I don't know what it's called (I'm horrible about that, I almost never ask what the show is called) but it airs in April. There's lots of great footage, the director of photography was really good. And the people who live in them are total characters.

EDIT: Since I lived in the south end of the East Bay, which meant the northern tip of Silicon Valley, I've known a lot of video game testers. It ranges from horror to hijinks. I prefer the hijinks...

This term it's Interpretations of Poetry and Freshman Comp 2. Over the summer it'll be Business Writing, and in the Fall, I'll get at least one Poetry workshop. As to the school, well, let's just say I'm shy and don't want to give out too much personal info here.

A US Marine. Honor, courage, commitment. A brotherhood no one else can understand. Get to run vast quantities. Everything about it makes me want it even more. I would rather enlist right now, but for reasons partially not my own, I'm going to college to commision and become an officer.

No greater friend, no worse enemy.

That and the uniforms are fucking awesome.

And before all you people go pointing out the war aspect, I actually want to go, I dont' support the war, but I will go. I want to experience as many things as possible, and thats one of the things I want to experience. I also don't knock things unless I tried them, with a few exceptions.

Pretty much just what I do now - working as a live sound engineer. More work, being better at my job and a nicer chair are about all I could wish for right now.

third dream: novelist
realistic? hahahaha no. :(

my real plan is to work hard at what i'm doing now, develop it, and sell it for ££££ *nods*

edit: how does one decide which dream is most realistic? thats the problem i have

what i'm working towards (vaguely) is to be a plant biologist and breed new species of crop plants and things like that to help the world, I'd quite like to teach but only those who want to learn what I have to teach them.

I'd also quite like to make things out of wood and metal and stone, nice things, but I don't mind if I have very little appreciation as long as the ones I give the things I've made appreciate them.
