Actually, I am aware of a number of people from my region who have been threatened with divorce over NationStates. Most of the so-threatened husbands and wives have cut back pretty drastically.

Nationstates is just a game. I spend, on average, 6 hours a day either on NS or on one of the offsite forums, but that's while I'm at work. I'm hardly ever on at home.

My wife, my son, and my cat are more important to me than NS. If I were forced to chose between NS and my family, my family would win hands down.
