Probably blow it up.

I would see if it worked well as a deodorant.

I am sorry to say I never read any "Dune" books. However, certain parts of "Star Wars" seemed to be copied from it, what with Tatooine and all. Spice in Star Wars is sort of a drug. Same thing in "Dune"? If not what exactly is it?

For a second I thought this thread was about the Spice Girls....

I'm happy to see it isn't.

I'd probably do the "overdose" thing like Alia did to see the future, and use it to further my goals of domination of the known universe...

Star Wars has spice. Han Solo smuggled it.

I'd try to get a large share of the company that produces it, and have it every day. Mmm...Spice.

I'd do my best to do what both the Harkonens and the Atradies did, corner the market and gain a monopoly on its production, refining and distribution. I'd go it about it the way Paul Atradies did rather than the way the Harkonens did, but ultimately, the Spice represents power and wealth, who could turn that down. He who can destroy a thing, controls a thing. I'd seek that control and rule the universe.

Edit: MMMMWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAA!!!!

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the juice of sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains.
The stains become a warning.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

I am sooo Mentat bound.

Oh ... and melange does exist ... we call it "cumin".

Incidently, I love the Gurney Halleck as Muslim "Jihadist" in the Dune series ... "Behold, as a wild ass in the desert, go I forth to my work." The Bible describes Ishmael - father of the Arab peoples - as a wild man.

Dune is awesome allegory.

I'm starting to develop the bloated mass and atrophied limbs of a "Stage Three Navigator", yet I have none of the prodigious talent for mathematics.

I must be putting the spice in the wrong hole...

If you develop the big vagina face, can I have sex with it?

Dude ... if you let me have sex with your big flapping vagina mouth, I'd pay for the doctor to come suck the puss out of your tranlsator's face pustules.

That may be the most flattering thing a stranger has ever said to me.

That the sentence should arise organically is evidence that the internet is doing great things for prose.

:p

But: If I found spice?

Seeing as to how its highly addictive, I wouldn't touch it.
I'd probably become the equivalent of a Columbian dug dealer though.
Smuggle and capture a few worms.
Bring them to another planet that conviently burned in a fire.
Create my own source of spice.
Everthing from there is overthrowing those geshia witches that control pretty much everything, the Emperor, and that tading guild.
