So we all excel at geography here, right? Well I have an assignment where I basicaly have to think a place to tkae a Russian Teen who has a bad view of the US to a few places. The places are:
Government
Religion
Archeticture
Clothing
We supposedly have infinite money to take them to the places, and they ask for a place and a summary explaining it for each one. I already have ideas, but 10 bucks and a bag of cookies says you guys have better ones so share please

Government: Front gates of the White House. That way, they get to hang around people that hate the US as much as they do.
Religion: Any NFL game. For some people, football is a religion and I'm sure that you would see any number of zealots.
Architecture: The LA freeway system. It's amazing how that many people can be traveling at those speeds, get to where they are going, and not kill eachother, accidentally at least.
Clothing: no idea. I don't really shop for clothes, so I couldn't really say where 's a good place to get any.

You and your "Kroger" can go to hell...
Government: National Archives and the National Mall, Washington DC
Religion: Yosemite Chapel, Yosemite Valley, Yosemite NP, CA
Archeticture: Hard one... hmm... Toss up between San Francisco, CA, New York City, NY, and Las Vegas, NV.
Clothing: Uh... not really interested in so... Rodeo Dr, Beverly Hills, CA?

Government - A (very) small town in New England...where the people still go to the town meetings...to see democracy in action at the local level.
Religion - The Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. Really a cool looking place and you can see some of the positive things religion can do (genealogy research).
Archeticture - Fallingwater - a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Pennsylvania
Clothing - tough one...Lowell, Mass - famous/historic textile mills from the beginnings of industrialization in America.

Whatever you do don't take them around the government... trust me. I live around it and it makes you hate the political bullshit that comes out of it.

The time I would save is genius, and considering I still havent started on my project despite it is 12:14 and I have an uber-biology test which I will most likely fail first period, it seems like a good idea. Im praying I get sick before tomorow morning. That would be so awesome.
