Not long ago I got a Sudoku game for my mobile phone(cell phone). Each board has a some spaces filled in for you at the start, in blue. The rest are white. One of the boards has the blue squares laid out like this:

I know the colour didn't work on the screen, that's cos I had to scan my phone. Just in case the pattern isn't clear enough I've added pretty little red X's:

Now compare to this:

Amusing coincidence?
Or is it?!!!!
I swear I didn't edit those pics, other than the red x's.

I think the swastika is the good-luck symbol of some Eastern religion/culture, or whatever.
The best Swastika occurence I've ever seen was at one of those little shops that populate China Town's everywhere. One of them had a Buddha with a swastika emblazoned on his chest, and it was proudly displayed among various other buddha statues.
One of my greatest regrets is that I didn't purchase Nazi Buddha when I had the chance, and have been since unable to locate him.

I don't think my phone is asian. And I doubt the had to bring in someone Japanese to make a sudoku game.
Although wasn't there some kind of 'axis' once upon a time...................

you're right, but hitler took it and turned it 45 degrees or something. it wasn't on the slant, more of one of the arms horizontal. i can't find a pic.

please, hitler ruined the credibility of all kinds of asian religious/collectible shops. the real travesty.

And Buddhists insist upon nothing, but no one respects them either.

I'd play 5x as much sudoku if it were swastikas and hammer-and-sickles more often.

So I just opened up that giant swastika picture #3 on my work computer right as a call was coming in. If I get fired I'm totally coming to get you.

A swastika generally goes clockwise, Nazis tilted it.

I think it is also in the native american culture too.
