As for my vote, NEITHER! Fast food is yummy, but so bad for you. Haven't you seen Super Size Me? It's a documentary, where the guy eats only from McDonald's for a month. By the end, he had hundreds of medical problems because of it.

I'd rather go to a nice restaurant and pay an extra $5 to get my food quite a bit healthier.

I forgot where I saw it but McD has a "flavor" powder that improves the low quality meat they use.

But the two for one. Eat one of them and pay attention to the taste. Save one and then heat it up. There is a noticable difference as their seasoning does not work on reheats.....

And perhaps it would be wise for you to remember that the proper word to use is "your", and not "you" when you're talking about someone's possesion of something.

McD's is better for breakfast, BK is better for lunch/dinner, but neither is good more than once per month.

there was a study dont a year or two ago that said that mcdonalds was the healthiest of all major fast food restaurants. burger king was last.

They both suck.

Had to say Mcdonalds because the Big Mac is good. I cannot tell a lie. It is the sauce they use on it (thousand island dressing and mayo to some strange mix that cannot be reproduced at home). Other than that though BK is better food pretty much across the board.

As for all you dipshits who said making a burger on the grill is better I give you a big "No shit? I usually freeze-dry then box up my cheap as dirt food(especially meat) and ship it all over the world. Then I have minimum wage workers who don't give a shit throw it together and reheat it again. Delicious"

They are foods specifically designed for quick prep any intelligence level can prepare and maximum profit.

The side effects include cottage cheese like blubber, cramping gas and diarreah and bad acne seems to have something in common with diets including this food. Theough I dont know if people wit hacne gravitate towars the food or they get acne from eating it. There is some connection.

I have no urge for fast food. I go to the deli and get fresh mozzarella, whole basil leaves, roasted red peppers on toasted semolina bread. Or rare roast beef with horseradish sauce.

It doesnt get any faster than that.

That guy's problems weren't caused by McDonald's, they were caused by the fact that he spent a month stuffing his face and sitting on his fat ass doing nothing. It doesn't matter what you're eating, if you force feed yourself constantly and lay around for a month, you're going to have health problems.

Too many horribly ill old fat people hobbling around on hip and knee replacements with diabetes cancer and all the other good stuff. Really bad diets kill you, but not fast enough. You get to watch all over your abilities and cash dissapear first.

Their problem isn't just the diet, but also their lifestyle. When my legs start to go, I won't be able to outrun the other guy anymore and be removed via the standard Darwinism.

well i wish there'd have been a "both are about the same" option, but since the author of this thread is into partisanship (hehe), i'll say that i voted for BK because it comes first in terms of alphabetical order. I really like both about the same.

advantages

McDonalds:
-Better fries
-Better standard (no lettuce/tomato) quarter-pound cheeseburger (quarter pounder with cheese)
-Big Mac (BK tried the big king, and i hated it... was too dry)
-The big salads are better, imo
-*DOLLAR MENU*
-Stuff at McDonald's is generally a bit less expensive than it is at BK... you can't even get a cheeseburger at BK for less than a dollar (in nashville, at least)
-Chicken Selects are good, and i don't think BK has full-size chicken fingers to offer anymore
-Better Coke (McDonald's uses a lower water-to-syrup ratio than other fast food Coke servers)
-McDonald's are usually cleaner and waaaay faster at getting you your food

Burger King:
-Better deluxe cheeseburgers, with the Angus burgers and Whopper with cheese/double Whopper/triple Whopper (King Kong promo)
-Better chicken sandwiches (i hate wheat bread and McDonald's uses it, and the Tendercrisp at BK is awesome
-The standard hamburger is bigger... i'm torn between the taste of the McDonald's frying method and BK's grilling method, but BK's small patties (IE, the ones used in cheeseburgers, double-cheeseburgers, etc.) are bigger than those at McDonald's
-Better fish sandwich
-Chicken fries

I think it comes down to this, taste aside:

McDonald's is faster, cleaner, and cheaper than Burger King... has better salad offerings, better fries, and the Big Mac

Burger King offerse superior chicken sandwiches and serves bigger burgers, with superior big-burger choices... if you feel like waiting 5 minutes for them!

if i'm in a hurry and have only $5, i go to McDonald's (Big Mac or QPC, medium fries, double cheeseburger)

if there are no time or money constraints, i go to Burger King for a Whopper with cheese (no onions) and Tendercrisp chicken sandwich with extra mayo (which comes to almost $7 in Nashville with tax included)

Well, both are capitalist and make shitty food that helps cause obesity, so I'm inclined to avoid both whenever possible. Neither is significantly better than the other.

Regretfully, I don't carry grill with me at all times, and so BK wins my dollar from time to time.
