Well there is maybe 10million jews in the world. 1billion muslums almost 2billion christians and about 80million buddists. Something like that id quees.

Me? I've become an Atheist, though I still regularly have little chats with Jesus and Satan. Satan makes better conversation, especially since lately all Jesus wants to do is stare at me in creepy silence (either he is upset, or he is undressing me with his eyes) until I have to invent some reason to leave the room.

And I'd say we aren't so much diverse as we are.....above the mean...Other is probably mostly fueled by jews agnostics and atheists (Take note of the word mostly, if you're someone else, you don't have to point that out to me)

Actually, it's more like 2 billion Buddhists and 80 million Christians. I do wish Christians would realize that 1) they are not in the majority and 2) Christianity is not the fastest growing religion in the world. In the U.S., whether Christians like it or not, Paganism is the fastest growing religion. Elsewhere, I think it's Islam and Buddhism.

In the normal sense of the word (and the sense of the poll) it'd be Christian. The differences between Anglican and C of E etc. to me are negligable and people just figeting around and being pedantic. The only major difference is probably between Catholic and Protestant. Out of the two I'm probably clsoer to Protestantism.

But in the non-normal sense of the word, It'd be science or maths. (Not maths as in the subject you do at school, but theoretical maths and science that cn prove the existence of a God or higher being.

D'oh! The poll is a little weak... There are a few major religions (that include a third of the world's people) that would have to get lumped into 'other'. Three choices are quite nearly the same; (there's an H in Buddha); and what about Hinduism & Taoism? As each of those is more than 4000 years old, aren't they worth mentioning specifically; or are they so old that we can take them for granted~~as some theosophical Hindus say, "Everybody is a Hindu!" After ten years of studying world religions, I'm inclined to think that a bit more education on this subject would not only do almost everyone some good but also do away with a lot of intolerance. As Alan Watts once said, (and trust me, he was smarter than both you and I), "Zen Buddhism represents the most mature and intelligent developments in the recorded histories of human thought." Which is why most Buddhists I've spoken with don't call their practice a religion.

They say its a philosphy. And also why I do somethings they do without doubting my faith and whatnot.

There's no dogma in Buddhism. I've heard the same thing from other people, that Buddhism is a religion. But, I'd rather believe the Buddhists. They know it best. After all, they're Buddhist.
