Apparently a whale stranded in the Thames River dies. I guess you don't see something like this doesn't happen everyday, well maybe in the Land of Milk and Honey, but not here.

We had a beluga whale in the Delaware river (between New Jersey and Pennsylvania, USA) last year. It didn't die though. Just swam up and down the river a few times before leaving a week or two after it arrived.

Considering all the stuff that gets dumped in the Thames, I would not have been surprised if the whale had died from its first inhalation of Thames water...

It's Jersey, I assume you could find all sort of stuff in there: soft money campaign contributions, strangled hookers, a mammoth, a frozen man.

Don't forget UFOs, The Jersey Devil, Midgets, Albinos, and people who didn't know how to keep their mouths shut.

The whale was swimming in the Thames for two whole days. Apparently whales only swim in freshwater if they're either injured and/or disorientated. At least the poor thing is out of its misery now.

Seeing as whales are mammals, any inhalation of water is likely to lead to death. But a taste of the Thames is probably equally deadly.

Perhaps it's a Jewish/NWO/Illumini conspiracy?

Why, of course we... I mean... uh... the Illuminati had nothing to do with this. It wasn't a failed experiment. Why are you asking me all these questions?! *runs away*

Yuppers. You wonder what Isreal burns to get electricity. *nods*
I remember when I was maybe about 10, there was a big whale (somebody said it was a pilot) washed up on the strand at Portatewart here, where my family has a caravan.
The second I heard about it I was down there. It was sad to see such a great animal beached and helpless....despite the best efforts of everybody who tried, the poor thing eventually died on the beach.

I think I was in Trenton when that happened. I can't remember, but I do remember that happening. Wish I could've seen.
