Why did Napoleon invade Eygpt?
Can anyone tell me, cause I just don't know why. Its like he woke up one day and was like, I want to find a rosetta stone and off he went.

Napoleon went to Egypt on his way to India. Egypt just happened to be in the way.
Somebody told him that Egyptian girls shave their bits and he thought his army would enjoy that.
To both protect French trade in the region and to interdict commerce between Britain and India. After he seized Egypt, he planned to conquer the Middle East and eventually British India, but the Battle of the Nile pretty much stopped that plan.
