Selfexplanatory, really.
I'm nominating Marshal of the Royal Air Force Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard. Has a jolly good ring to it. Better 'n Bobs Roberts.

Major Major Major Major.
There actually was a Major in Vietnam with the last name Major. He use to have problems with the MPs believing that he really was "Major Major." Heh!

What do you mean he's not a real Sergeant?

And that's an order!

And that's an order!
Which is unnecessary. Any statement out of an officer's mouth which can be interpreted as requiring some sort of action on a subordinate's part is considered to be an order. Makes officers watch their speech pretty closely! Heh!

Colonel Despard- British colonel ( ), and, I believe, the last Britain to be hung drawn and quatered.
Seemingly appropraitely dastardly, malign and unscrupulous name.

What do you mean he's not a real Sergeant?
But he was in G.I. Joe, so he still counts!

Burnsides.
The man who created side-burns.
Don't really know what he rank was though. He just looks totally pimped out, American Civil War style.

He's the only commanding officer that if you messed with him, you felt the pain of the Cobra Clutch.

My first commanders name always stood out in my mind as worthy of a double take. Col. Keith M. Nightengale. Probably the most ruthless person I ever met in my life.

At Field Training, we had a Major Basic.
We also had a Cadet by the name of Sergeant, so that'll be interesting as his career progresses.
Although the most impressive and commanding (and sometimes scary) officer I've ever met was Captain (now Major) Brad Borke. If I turn out to be half the officer he is, I'll consider it a blessing.

Pretty cool guy.
I'd just love walking up to him, saluting, getting my orders and then saying:
"Jawohl, General Graf Strachwitz von Gross-Zauche und Camminetz!"
You'd run out of breath before the end. :D

I'm a member of the RCAC (Canadian Air Cadets). Not an officer or anything, just the Squadron Warrant Officer but Flight Sergeant King is pretty damn snazzy if you ask me.:)
