I wanted to make a separate thread to thank you good people for your support (you have no idea how many times I have read and reread what you have written about her and Bruce and Huw, you know who you are, your emails were balm to my soul. Thank you guys. I know you guys won't ever let her down and will carry her in your heart forever) to apologize to Forrest for unloading all the crazy crap in my head on him the other night (write back) and to ask you all to do what I think my lady would have done. Sandy loved critters. She used to feed the squirrels that live in the trees in our yard right out of her hand and she never once got bit. Several of the pets she has had over the years were sick or hurt and somehow knew to drag themselves to her doorstep. She never turned one away healed them loved them and gave them good long lives. All but one of the dogs that we have now got to her that way. Her main priority in life (how many times have I heard her say "set your priorities and stick to them") was kids. She adopted 4 kids that everyone else considered too damaged to bother with and helped each of them become their best and they all became excellent. Another of her priorities was you people here on the NS forum. She believed that she could spread the love in her heart a little further and Bruce and Huw prove that she was right. I tried to let you know what Sandy would do if she read the thread about Nazz's nephew. She would have jumped in there and donated a butt load so that someday Nazz and other families wouldn't have to go through the pain of losing a child in such a awful way. She lost her daughter so this would have been special to her. Its your money and you can spend it how you want you can poll and make a decision on the opinion of a few dozen people but I made a donation in my ladys name to The Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy foundation. I ask that you add this to your sig WWSD? What would Sandy Do? She would give her support to anyone who needed it and especially the folks on this forum community and she would give every penny she could to FUNZ (Friends of Uncle Nazz and Zooke).
