The Ponderings of Legality

I have recently found myself in deep thought, wondering about such things like...
When did we decide that killing should be a crime?
That because someone has sex before marriage that they're going to hell?
For that matter, when hell came to exist?
When did we decide that there was a 'God' (or whatever you want) of sorts?
When did we decide that being naked wasn't such a good idea?
Who decided that we needed religion?
Did morality always exist?
I could go on... but I'll leave room for other people to add their own deep ponderings.
Since when is being naked a bad idea???

Why can't I get a job playing videogames all day?

Why can't I get a job playing videogames all day?
Because some asstard decided that sitting on your ass and being paid to do nothing isn't good for the economy? Then again... maybe you didn't apply to the right places ~_^

Do you think if you found yourself in court you could argue that you never agreed to follow any laws and so that they didn't apply to you?

But I wouldn't be doing nothing, I'd be playing videogames (and perhaps not posting in nationstates while at work, ahem).
Damn few postings in the wanted ads that say "someone to play videogames all day."

For that matter, when hell came to exist?
After the Hebrews came into contact with Egyptian and Greek cultures, before that they only had Sheol.
When did we decide that there was a 'God' (or whatever you want) of sorts?
We've always believed in spirits since we were hunters but the concept of God generally appeared at about the same time as agriculture.
When did we decide that being naked wasn't such a good idea?
When we became 'unhairy enough' to feel the cold.
Who decided that we needed religion?
Farmers.
Did morality always exist?
Does it exist now?

About your question about when hell came about.
Hell came to exist because theere was a rebellion in heavenn god sent all the bad angels to hell the good angels stayed with him and the ones who could not decide where sent to earth.

I've had a few friends who've done just that. Usually they find out what temp agency the video companies use to hire their testers and then work to get a permanent job. One of them got on the Sega support line where he had to assure parents that their children wheren't losers (after Sega ran ads that said "If you don't have Sega, you're a loser" and gave out the occasional bad Sonic tip-like "You need the Gold ring from the third level, which you can only get on Tuesdays with your Sega in direct sunlight...)
But I guess you have to live in Silicon Valley or near another grouping of video game companies...

But beta testing is not that glamorous. You're only given a couple of levels and you have to play them and replay them and try everything you can think of to make the game crash, and then you have to fill in all those reports. Natch. I just want to play the game.

But then you have to be good at playing, and train and all that. Besides, what happens if I'm feeling like playing Silent Hunter III or Superpower. Mmmm... That'd be interesting, a Silent Hunter III tournament played in real time.

Well, it is a bad idea when you're frying bacon.

Why is it anytime an announcement starts off with "for your convenience,..." whatever follows is the exact opposite of convenient? If they were to say
"for our convenience,..", then it would make more sense.

I used to think about stuff like "why is a table called a table" and stuff like that and then people said "it's from latin". So I would say, "but why is it called that". Pretty much just wondering about why words are used for stuff and where they came from. Strange. Hmm.
Btw, I don't actually know if table is from latin.. Lol, I don't know.
