Would you? (poll)

If the election today, and if Hillary Clinton was the Democrat Canidate, would you vote for her?

I would not vote for her, she just comes off as a bitch to me, and she makes stupid comment like the "Plantation" comment she made on MLK day.

I can't make a poll, so just say yes or no in your post.

Depends on who the Republican candidate was. I think this would be a "lesser of the two evils" sort of election. Kinda like.....2000.....

Chances are, if they were equally evil for their own little reasons (which is very likely), I'd vote third-party and just continue down my path of expatriotism.

As Simonist said, it depends on her opponent. If she's going against Powell or another of the few Republicans that I respect, then the politicking centrist is going down. If the Republican candidate is one of the many, many people that I don't respect, then I'm going to have to vote for Clinton.

My main objection to Hillary Clinton as president is that she's been acting too much like a stereotyped vote-grabbing politician lately; she's been trying to wrap herself in the robes of centrism cast off by Sandra Day O'Connor (who I would love to have run for President, by the way). Her rhetoric against video games hasn't helped her position in my opinion.

To be frank, I will vote for Hillary as the lesser of two evils if necessary (and I'll actually be able to vote! Yay!). However, I would much prefer that the Democrats put forward a candidate who hasn't already opened themself up for criticism like Clinton has. Of course, I also hope that the Republicans put forward a candidate that's not an extremist jerk like Bush was (see my desire to see Powell run).

Hilarys a bitch. She embodies one of those over-concerned over-outraged soccer moms who try to shelter there kids. I either wouldn't vote, or vote third-party.

One votes for the party, not the person. Nonetheless, I like Hillary's propensity for pissing off chauvinist conservatives. It sometimes reminds me of me.

Oh come on.....at least if you voted, you could have a right to complain about how the country turned out.

That's what I hold over the heads of all the political hacks who still refrained from voting in the recent elections :D

Voting based on the personality of the candidate is one of the reasons why I hate democracy at times. Vote for the candidate who is more likely to share your views on issues that are important to you. Who cares if said candidate is an asshole?

Well, you have every right to disagree with me. I just think that there are more important issues at stake than whether you'd get along with someone you'll most likely never meet.

Yea, but their personality does reflect on your country, and if your President is an asshole to other world leader, how is that going to make your country look?

That is true to a point - but a whole lot of the rest of the world hates Bush, and his supporters don't seem to care about that.

Personally I thought Bill Clinton was a slimeball, but I considered him to be a pretty good president because of the things he accomplished while in office - they lined up fairly well with my personal desires and values in terms of what should happen economically in the country.

It's a shame that voting third party really is effectively wasting your vote. I don't think that anyone finds the Republican or Democratic parties to be totally in line with their values... it's always a matter of the lesser of two evils. That's what politics is all about.

It does bother me that Republicans think they're the only ones with morals and that Democrats think they're the only ones capable of being open-minded.

That's what you get with an unparliamentary and disproportionate system.

Theoretically, if any given third party attains a certain percent of popular vote, they're supposed to get federal funding for their party. However, given the facts that (a) nobody knows this, and (b) people are generally afraid that a third party vote is a "wasted" vote (which it sometimes may be), it'll probably never happen in America.

So move out.

In addition to being a political jellyfish, Hillary Clinton has no integrity in my opinion. I think she'd do ,or suffer, anything to remain in or as close to power as possible. I'd ,with some reservation, vote for her against a rabid gerbil but probably under no other circumstances.
