I know its a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone else on the forums is going to be at the Heathen Crusade black/folk metal festival in Minnesota this weekend?

Folk metal? That's a typo, right? Like.. some guy screaming Cat Stevens lyrics with a half dozen electric guitars and stuff? I'd pay to see that, just to say I'd seen everything.. :p

You haven't seen everything until you've seen Christian Death Metal.
Well, you'd have to see that and an ant eat its own head.

Pass. I don't go to metal shows, because it's so loud, I feel like I'm gonna start hemorraging if I get too close... "close" meaning "within five miles."

Heh, not a typo, different kinda folk though. More like northern European (and in some cases, celtic) folk music blended with black metal. The three major name bands at this show are Moonsorrow (Finnish folkmetal), Primordial (Celtic folkmetal) and Thyrfing (Swedish metal with some traditional elements).

I use the same earplugs I use when I'm on the firing range.
