Goddamn you, I am H N Fiddlebottoms VIII, the "H" doesn't stand for "Henry", it is a weak ruin, left from where a long forgotten (yet glorious) first name once stood but has since been forgotten because it was really too much effort to write the full name down on the birth certificate.
It's, like, symbollic for the government, or something else that is totally out there, man.

I was away on a sort of working vacation where I nearly died a few times and got nothing for my efforts. The only thing I really got out of it were these quick lessons:
Hypothermia: Bad, So don't try swimming in frozen lakes
Knife Fighting: Definitely harder than it looks
When a man is drunk and has a gun in his hand, it is definitely not advisable to surprise him (although he will probably miss, still . . . yeah)
Never try to put out a grease fire with water

What about trying to drown a cat in the burning grease? does that work?

made an official leave, but just re-appeared on my screen some minutes ago -timing, i say-
My leave was for a short period of enlightenment, which ended shortly before my longer unofficial absence.
And this was terrible timing for my return, if I'd stayed out a couple more days I might have gotten to see my own funeral.
