Suppose that as the original poster I should really mention myself:
I study History, English literature, Classics, French, General Studies and Critical Thinking at AS level.
Am damn well going to Oxford to read "modern" history.
Then intend to be a corporate lawyer.
Before going into a) early retirement
b) politics

All I'm looking at for the future is going back to uni and being on a course I like enough to stick out for three years. After that, I don't know.

Nice. Everyone should have a doss subject. It's just a shame I picked Further Maths as mine...

I go to college for religion (and photo-journalism, but that's more of a hobby), moderate another forum (that I hate so I only give it about two hours a day), hit on boys I meet from Myspace.com, and search for a new job (at least in the past two weeks). Normally I'd be working full time and also spending obscene amounts of time out with my boyfriend-esque man. I also have a harp player that I do weddings with in the spring and summer (I'm a flautist), and I'm a youth leader for the Church.
Really, the NS forums is how I unwind....

I play in mud, have sex with my wife, chase squirrels around the neighborhood in the buff, entertain children at birthday parties, deal blackjack, care for my child, hang out with friends and occasionally read a good book.
...But not all at the same time. :p

I finished my A-Levels last year. Doing six was really pointless. Don't do it, people!!
For the record, I pissed about in almost every subject. I think maths was the only thing I worked in (in year 12. we covered the Maths syllabus in one year, further maths the next, where I stopped working). Still got three A's (Maths, Eng. Lit., Physics) a B in History, C in General Studies (treated every exam for that like posting here...spam!!) and a D in Further MAths (if only I'd done some work I could've been the only person ever to have general studies as their worst grade... ah well)

I hope to go to college somewhere or other (too early to worry about that now) and do something with computers for a living (Networking, repair, programming, whatever. I like everything.). Right now, I'm working on my A+ certification and after that I'll start studying for my Network + certification, both outside of school..
Of course I'm only 15, so no hurry.
Right now I'm doing just fine in school. Mostly A's. My favorite class is programming, and it is not my best grade. This annoys me to no end. When not on NS I am playing video games while pretending to study/do homework. I guess that answers the question.

No, it's just a funny life ambition. Some people want to be a surgeon, or a national leader. Others choose to be a girl guide. It's not my life.

Is that like a really obese girl guide?
Okay, I'll stop now.
I do a BA (Hons) in Modern History (I would say I study for it, but that would be a blatant lie), and I work in a minilab.

i'm supposed to be a graphic designer but for the last few months (and now especially) i've been resigned to entering data into a computer for hours on end and then analysing it while someone else gets to go present the findings and get all the positive feedback about my work. at least i'm getting paid extra for it (kinda) and will get a drum kit soon with the dough
still hate it.
even as a graphic designer there's so little actual creativity allowed - its suffocating and i really can't imagine doing it much longer on a commercial basis.
i really don't know what the hell i want to do. part of me wants to go back to uni, part of me hates the idea. i really want to try my hand at professional photography or catering/cooking but i don't know where to begin and actually making any money in either of those two fields is like wanting to "be a rock star".

Have you considered doing uni part time? Assuming your parents (or whoever) will support you, you could maybe combine the two ambitions (uni and your apparently unlikely career goals) and do both. That way it wouldn't really matter so much if you were only making beer money because that would be all you needed. Maybe. Unless I'm rambling again.
