A rant on all these "religion" threads

Do we really need a billion+ religion threads? I mean, every time I check General, there are a bunch of new "Prove God exists," "I don't believe God," "God this," "God that," blah blah blah..., threads. Is this really necessary? Wouldn't just one thread suffice? Do we really need a new thread just because someone does or doesn't believe in God? If you want to add anything, post in one of the billion+ religion threads that already exist, rather than start a new one. I mean, seriously, this topic is really getting old.

If you don't like all the threads, you're under absolutely no obligation to read them.

If you really want something different to discuss, why not start a new thread about whatever it is you want to discuss? Put up, or shut up, as they say.

The only thing that's worse than the political threads are these religious threads.

But does Self Defense/Guns fit under Religion or Politics?
Ditto Islamofacisim/Jihaad/Terrorism.
How about ID?

Some things just don't fit.

Well, I'd put Self Defense/Guns under politics, Islamofacisim/Jihaad/Terrorism are sorta religion on th outside but probably fit better in politics and ID is Religion, although proponent of ID would like it to be politics.

1. The only thing more tiresome than all of the religion threads are threads where someone whines about them....like this one.
If you dont like them, dont post in them, and come up with something better.
If you cant, then your stuck with already existing threads.

2. The subject of the truth of Gods existance, and if he exists, and what role he might play on humanity is one of the most important questions humans can ask.
Can there be any wonder why so many people have something to say about it?

If you dont like religion threads, or political ones....this forum probably isnt for you.

Do we really need a billion+ religion threads?

With 4 - 5 billion religious people in the world, it only makes sense.

threads complaining about overkill of threads are old.

Actually, we're at the point where posts complaining about threads complaining about overused topics are getting old.
