Incidently, this is coming from a document being translated from French to English. Gotta be done by Thursday morning. I don't guess I could solicit help with the whole thing. It's only 52 pages. :D Faster it's done, happier I am!
That explains why it sounds strange in french but perfectly correct in english when translated with google...

Funny as that is, I can't use it. :D
A little help with that one? Whole sentence:
Les candidats ayant retiré le chier des charges seront invités par écrit à assister à l’ouverture des plis par la Commission habilitée, au jour, heure et lieu indiqué dans cette lettre.

it's cahier des charges, not chier des charges. Chier means to crap lol. A cahier is a book. A cahier des charges is a book of specs.
The candidates who have taken their book of specs will receive an invit so as to attend the oppening of the document by the proper comission(I don't know how to say it in english, but that's the comission who has the power to do it), at the date and time indicated in the letter.
But I'm not very good at english, better ask google (just replace chier with cahier and it makes a lot more sense lol).

Man! Thanks guys. A little typo in French can be very funny. If I left it as is, I'd have had to basically tell bidders that if they leave to take a crap, they're out! :D
