There was Final Destination, it was mediocre, but worth watching once.
Then, there was Final Destination 2 (Damn, you had the map upside down), which was lame. I saw it on sci-fi. Had a bullshit happy-go-lucky ending (well, besides the comedic effect of the kid being blown up by the grill) and the whole thing was more feel good than "holy shit, look out" horror.
And now, Final Destination 3 (Wtf is this? Final Fantasy, I want some finality damnit). What the fuck can they do? Find new ways for people to randomly die? Now, I admit, that is pretty funny stuff watching the Rube Goldberg influenced death sequences, but what kind of story can they do? They tried to tie Final Destination into the first one by keeping the girl alive and saying everyone was tieing up loose ends there because the people death was going after people that dodged death because of the events in the first movie. What will be the plot? Death goes "Oh fuck, they cheated." and goes after the guy who didn't even get a shot at dieing years later?
