Honey Rider? Dr. Holly Goodhead?

I went with Connery because he set the standard. He and Brosnan both pull off the look that they can go from commando raids i na jungle to a formal dress ball and still mack all the honeys in the same night.

Moore did the charm and dry with the best, but his fight scenes weren't that convincing.

Connery had the best villains. Moore had the hottest tail and best one liners. Brosnan had the best action sequences.

Depends on what you want from your Bond flicks.

Why re-write when you can simply refer?

I don't remember what the stuff at the beginning about Dalton was referring to, necessarily, but there's a quick summation of all the Bond films toward the end.

Some of that summation still made me giggle, so I thought I'd re-post.

Roger Moore. He was funny, and not as greasy/slick as Sean Connery was.

Uh, sir, we don't have any sharks. Mr. Blowfield cut the budget.

From that list, favourite Bond is Connery.
Film is... tricky... Goldfinger perhaps, but YOLT and DAF might well be (as many ohters) depending on mood.
Gadget: Little Nell Or the 'Horses Arse' jet.
Car: I wouldn't mind a Vanish, but the sub-Lotus (if it hadn't such a restricted view of the road) might work and the original Aston Martin has an air about it.
Bond Girl: Depends... I quite like some of the later ones. (Jinx, and whassername from Goldeneye, not Onyatop) but am partial to some of them around the area of YOLT. (Well, at least I didn't say Rosa Kreb!)

Out of the whole[/I ]genre, Niven, Casino Royale and (following the theme) the Atomic Aspirin (or flying/gassing/bubble-blowing roulette wheel, if I'm not interested in blowing people up ;)), the Lotus Formula 3 (hee hee!) and my favourite girl from that was definitely James Bond (as re-named, the one kidnapped by Jimmy Bond and strapped down)

(Barry Nelson's portrayal of an American version of Bond was interesting, but too different to consider in [I]my list, and sometime I've got to see if I can find Holness's audio portrayal...)

No David Niven option? For shame.Ah, good, someone else with the same idea... Or at least an acknowledgement of the option, which is a good as I was hoping for... ;)

For me, a toss up between Connery and Moore. I think the slick, charming Bond that Ian Flemming invisioned was Connery. But Moore was a more down to earth kinda guy that made me laugh.
