Come up with a fictional game, which must either be in board or video form, and possibly a comercial for it. Here's one that someone once said that I'll just stea, er borrow, yeah borrow for a second.
America: Total War
comercial:
announcer: Hey Billy, whatcha play'n?
Billy: America: Total War.
singers: America: Total war. It's a game that really sticks. America: Total War, hey, it's politics.
announcer: Conquer the world or be a big, pussy nation that makes France look brave and strong. Uh oh. 9-11. Will you bomb the terrorists in terrorland out of existance or hide and cry in your ImabigpussywhomakesFrancelookbigandstrong bunkers, it's all up to you.
Coming soon: UN additions. Have a big, corrupt world beauracracy try to boss you around as they get bribed off by Dictatoria. It's like much of America's politics, but on an international scale.

There you go. Post your ideas.

Because you watch the simpsons too much.

I order you get back topic on.Don't make me set up you the bomb.
It's Engrish...the game. Tired of good Japanese-English translations? Just pop in an NES game into an NES and watch the bad translations take you on an adventure on underpaid-translator island.

Bilton Madly presents: World Politics the board game.

using your pieces, you move around the board, each "Country" you land in can either mean trade or war. test your skills as you haggle with other players about trade agreements and border control. do you send in the troops or rely on spies? will it be world peace or world war III?

GENERAL FORUM: THE BOARD GAME.

Manuver your way though a sea of controversial topics, Vanity threads, game threads and spam. If you can avoid the trolls and flamers you just might end up an All Powerful Mod... or you might fail and be Deated on Sight.

Thanks... but little do we realize that Avika is a game designer and that the purpose of this thread is to create the next new board game to be released in time for Christmas 2006!

Where in the world is Darrin "DJ" Jackson?"

(plays clip from DJ announcing White Sox game) "UH OH!!! UH OH!!! BYE BYE!!!!"

Darrin Jackson has been MIA since the White Sox last regular season game. While his partner Ken "Hawk" Harrelson took place in World Series radio broadcasts and the parade, DJ has been missing. Your job is to find out where he is interviewing for a job seeing how the Sox seem to have fired his sorry ass.

(I'm a huge fan of Hawk and hate DJ and his stupid HR call)

I do't think it has the power to make such a good open-ended RPg that will rival The elder scrolls V (I was going to say IV, but IV is coming ever so soon, and I have no time to get it out at the same time. )

Still, that is nothing. And I dont care. I am planning something much more open then that. Like, say, a game that has good graphics, is open-ended, and that will be widely thought to be one of the best games made. Trust me I am not interested in this thing for the playstation. esides, My game would be PC only. That right, no consoles, cuz consoles suck.

Hawk's call rules, I love the one from 9-22-2005 on the Sox winner off of Crede's shot in the bottom of the 9th

"That one is wayyyyy back!!! Get up!!! Stretch!!!! YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOOOOAAAAARRRRDD YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! The Sox win this game on Joe Crede's homerun. JOOOEEEE CREEEEDDDDEEEE!!!!!!!!!"

UNopoly

Boss people around as you move around the board. Pass go and collect $200,000,000 from Dictaroria. Make exmpty threats and pretend to care about anything other than your bank account. It's like they took American politics and made it a worldwide thing. Based off of an actual really corrupt world bearacracy.

american politics.
If you pretend to care, you're pretty liberal. It's American Politics: Liberal Addition, the board game. Uh oh, a minority is actually thinking before he votes. He might vote Republican, or worse, independant. Use propoganda and severely-distorted facts to brainwash, er, I mean keep, yeah, that's it, keep. Keep them on your side. After all, Abe Lincoln was really a Democrat. If they find out that you're a hypocrat, you lose. American Politics: Liberal Addition. This time, everyone gets to come in, no matter what terrorist group they belong to.

Coming soon: Medieval Church style atheism. It's like they took the god out of the medieval church system, but left the propoganda and brainwashing. Oppress the religious as you try to make Charles Darwin their new Jesus(or Mohhamad, or Moses). It's like atheism got a little too serious and powerful at the same time. Torture people who disagree with you. Burn the religious leaders at the stake as heathens. It's Medieval Church-Style Atheism. Whitewashing history so that radical atheists don't get offended, even though good atheists aren't so intolerant.
