Are there any stats on nationstates?

I'd especially like to know the ratio/number of nations of each UN category (I've seen the UN category 3D graph with the colors but would like an update).

What about the economic ratings of each UN categ?

Nothing more current than 2003.

If you have the time and professional or amateur expertise you can write and run a script to gather the information you want, but most people don't have one or the other around here.

however thats only for about 700 nations

what i'd really like to see is a GINI index of inequality
