I dont think so. If it wasent for the war he would still be very popular. Well I quees he still is as he won the election.

Yes, the man is a total cock!

Failing that he should cross the floor and swap places with Cameron; as they both seem to be in the wrong party.

What's the alternative?

I like his commitment to the EU. I don't like his commitment to American silliness.

As for the economy, he started off promising, but he sorta lost the plot. He was meant to define a new Centre-Left platform for the rest of Europe as well, but he didn't really succeed.

but brown should be a good PM anywayI don't mind his policies really - well, at least he seems more true to his word than Tory Bliar - but I suspect he will not be looked on especially favourably by most of the electorate. Why? I've seen no evidence of him having Blair's charisma and public speaking charm (it pains me to say that about Bliar, but credit where it's due). Sadly, I think that a lot of the British electorate are more interested in a leader's image these days than their actual politics. I'd like to be proven wrong once Brown's in power, however.

Charles Kennedy (the only major politician I would trust in power!) was forced to quit last week because he was an alcoholic. I can't see how that is worse than being a pathological liar! Blair should have been out after it became apparent (we all knew from the start), that he was effectivly lying to the public about the war! I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. It's just unfortunate that there isn't really anyone else I would trust who's likly to gain enough support to win an election (thank you stupid Lib Dem MPs!).

Labour have changed so much as a party that they actually had to RENAME themselves! New Labour.

Also, they may have won more seats last election, but they don't have majority - most people who voted DID NOT vote labour! (or Bliar!)

At this point in time, if it came down to a choice, I'd rather see Brown in power than that smarmy liar Blair!
