well, the forums didn't work for me today until now, I assume they were broke for others for a while too. (I know I shouldn't assume)
so what did you get done?
I cleaned house and worked on my volunteer work.

I'm so proud of myself!
And I talked to lots of people on msn ;)

I totally went to town!
No, that's actually what I did, I went out into the big wide world and went shopping. I now have a brand spanking new At The Drive-In cd, and food. Seriously, I would starve for the next few days if the forum hadn't been down. :p
And I read the Guardian cover to cover including all the supplements. Even the economic section.

Yup. It wasn't too bad, I didn't actually have to speak to any other people. Maybe next time I'll tell the bus driver where I want to go rather than make him guess...

I played way more Kingdom of Loathing than I should have (even though it was also broke for part of the day) and I caught up on my email. (apparently everyone thinks that I live to answer their stupid questions.)

I understand most of the concepts you used... but you put them together in ways I can't comprehend...
Like putting "I went" and "outside" together like that...

I pressed the F5 key about two dozen times. Then I went back to bed. Two hours later I pressed the F5 two dozen times again. Then I smoked a fat spliff. Then I went back to bed. Half an hour later I pressed the F5 key twice, realized that this was serious, put on "O Fortuna" on maximum volume on repeat, and went into town to scope out a potential new job.
I had coffee with friends. I even remembered their names!

Troubleshot my PC, router, ADSL modem and splitter. Installed Ubuntu just to make sure. Then, in a final act of desperation, made several bomb threats which I suspect I will soon regret (not carrying out).

I joined two other forums out of a forum need. But they're a bit dull in comparison to here, of course ;) I read pretty much all of the Belfast Telegraph for the first time in years and watched a bit of TV.
I didn't start on that essay due in soon, despite my best intentions. And I still haven't.

I actually got some work done. I had an exam today, and the forums crashing was possibly the best thing that could have happened. No seriously, I only spent an hour trying to log in then ten minutes every hour 'checking' to see if they got fixed. I've never done so much work in my life. Pity there's another exam tomorrow...
