Carolina Panthers Vs. NY Giants

Welp, despite their wild and crazy season, the Carolina Panthers made it to the playoff as a wild card team. They will now go to their first play off against the New York Giants. Who do you think will win? I perosnally think Carolina will win, mainly because Jake and Smith works well together. If Jake is able to throw a decent pass, Smith can catch it and deliever it! I know for a fact that Smith will give the Giants a run for their money. The Carolina Panthers also got the best defense against running plays, so if the Giants do too many running plays, the Panthers will stop them in their tracks. However, Carolina's defense against passing plays suck, so the Giants will probably be doing more passing than running.

In Carolina favor:
Passing play involving Jake and Smith
Running plays
Defense against running plays.

Not in favor of Carolina
Defense against passing plays

All I gotta say this will be one hell of a game!

poll coming soon.

To stop the Giants all the Panthers have to do is shut down Tiki Barber....easier said then done....but Panthers have a decent run defence so they should be ok....Jake and Steve to hook up will be the offensive key for the Panthers just like it has been for the entire season...

They shut down Tiki then they can pressure Eli into making mistakes with their pass rush...the Defensive backs of the Panthers will then feast on the 2nd year player....

It'll be really funny if Carolina shut down Tiki on the first play. It'd be like the playoff game with the Eagles all over again.

I gotta pull for the Giants on this one. I have a bet going since before the season about who has the better year- Jacksonville or Carolina. The Jaguars have the better record, but if Carolina goes deeper into the playoffs, then I will still end up losing. So GO GIANTS!

Definitely asking the wrong person here.
Carolina have done well for such a young team.

Let's not forget about Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora. The Panthers' line is going to have a hell of a time containing BOTH of them, and Delhomme has a tough time against a solid pass rush. And the Panthers pass attack is limited to Delhomme to Smith. If the Giants D can pressure Delhomme and shut down Smith, the Carolina offense is going to have a tough time putting any sort of points on the board.

And, of course, the same can be said about Eli Manning and Plexico Burress and Julius Peppers and Mike Rucker. I anticipate a low scoring affair, as both defenses are better than both offenses.

It's gonna be a good game it could go either way.

It should be a close game, and therefore probably fun to watch. I'd give a slight edge to Carolina. Who wants to bet that it comes down to special teams? One field goal could be the difference in the game.

In that case, Kasay is a god and I know most of us saw Feely's magnificent display against Seattle....Carolina wins.

Yea, I say this is going to be a close game, I'd be on the edge of my seat that's for sure.
