So when did you reach your final height.
When did you stop growing?

18 i stopped at 6'3"

stopped growing 2 3/4 years ago, so 15

Oh well: Caucasian male, UK, current age 25.

major growth spurt was between 13 and 14, by which time I was 5'8". Adult height of 5' 10" was reached at 18.

About 14, when I reached 6'3" (190ish cm). I remember my shoe size was the same as my age from 7-14.

edit: Oh yeah, I'm a male, age 23 in Michigan

How do I know I won't grow tomorrow?

Also, is there anyway you can know you haven't reached your adult height? I bet there is, but I doubt you can check it yourself. Maybe someone stops growing tomorrow, I dont think someone has the tools ar home to check whether you're still growing. Even when you have beeng growing for centimetres last year, doesn't mean it will continue when you get out of bed eh.

about 17/18 at a guess. 5 ft 11.... why couldn't i be a nice round number like 6 ft :(

I hit my final height (5'7.25") right after I turned 15 (or at least that's the doctors visit that it plateaued). I was hugely tall for my age (at least in terms of girl heights) but I finished growing early -- had the growth plates in my legs not closed off early, not only would I have been as tall as 6'1" (and could've possibly continued a REAL career in modeling, not just a high school hobby), but I also wouldn't have the joint problems I'm faced with now.

So.......screw growth plates.

Edit: Oh, yeah. Stats are 19 y/o USian female.

I've been about 185cm for a few years now, so i would have stoped when I was about 16 I think.

I reached my adult height- 5'8"- when I was about 14 or 15. :(

OK, just wondering.
I'm 176cm when before bed, and 178 when I wake up, don't know what that is in feet and inches, i am nearing 17 now, and I had this 2cm growth spurt during the holidays[summer] but since then I have grown like maybe just over half a cantimeter, reason for this thread is.
I want to wait with heavy waits until i have reached maximum potential for height. And I have like a complex with it sine I am of Bosnian decent, and we are an avrege really tall, don't know why...

So I am hoping for another 4 cm but my age is rising qiucker then my height:p

Also my father is 185is cm

I kept growing till I was about 22-23.

I think I was about 13. At the time, I completely towered over my schoolmates at 5'2" (!) - then suddenly, all the bastards were taller than me! My mother had instilled a false sense of security in me; some old wive's tale postulates that your fully grown adult height will be twice the height of your three-year-old self. I was circa three feet at that juncture and, in my naivety, fully believed for years that I'd end up being six feet tall :mad:

Almost he same, I think we stand at 182 on avrebe.
But bosnians are, along with other serbo croatian speaking peoples, like croats and serbs. A raciel mix of two cinds of whites, the Slaves, and Dinarids. and Dinarids are quite tall avrege male is 191cm.
But the avrege bosnian male was, last time there was a real country that had statisticks in 1988, The avrege bosnian male[male in the socialist federativ jugoslav republik of bosnia] was 182cm, so we are nearly as tall as you.
So I feel like an avrege white dude in Europe and North america. But in the Netherlands, in Scandinavia, and in bosnia I am suddenly a midget :P

6'1.5" according to this here tape measure.

Anyway, I'm now just over 5'8" (having just measured myself). Considering I was 5'7" before I went to uni you'd think I'd be happy. However, my uni measured me and told me I was 5'9".

I don't know who to believe. :(

21, I think I am officially done growing, although I hope not (false hope) I was 5ft1in at 18 and 5ft2in at 21, I haven't grown since.

I've been 5-11 1/2 for about 2 years now. I'm pretty sure I'm done. I'm still thin as all get out, at only 150 pounds. Still lifting weights.....up from 110 :D

Don't bet on growing _much_ more - or worry if you don't. It's not something you can control!

Equally, almost 25% of folk here (excluding them that haven't finished growing) were still getting taller past the age of 18, so you might be like them :)

im 14 and haven't stoped growing (hopefully) but my mum's talking about growth hormone treatment, because she stoped growing at fifteen and shes worried that I will too. I'm only five feet or something really short and I'm supposed to end up five foot four, but I haven't changed my foot size.

you know I knew a woman that stopped growing at 4ft1in, she said it was the greatest thing ever, people were nicer to her, she got the kid's price at the movies, and she never had to reach anything on a tall shelf.

I think at 5ft2in though that people expect too much of me :( They think I can actually change my own lightbulbs, even on a step stool I am still 2 feet away from the fixture:headbang:
