I need your help, if you please.

The lyrics the performer sings in the following version of "Rule Britannia" seem not to be ones found above. (I could be mistaken, but I think he makes something up in one of the middle or last stanzas and the audience laughs).

lyrics: (found likewise elsewhere, so please don't just google it and post those you found...)

At the bottom of the page, third song from the top:

I'd appreciate it if someone could transcribe those lyrics and post them here.

Thank you!

Sometimes they miss out some of the verses and such. Nice smiley by the way, I may have to steal that.

Oh yes. Wait! It's a recording from the BBC Symphony Orchestra, "Last Night of the Proms", Live 2000. I'm sure the British find it very amusing when someone sings German?

You sure?

Ah, its Welsh. Bryn Terfel singing it, from 1994, not 2000 as the ID tags seems to suggest on the MP3.

Oh! That explains a lot.

Okay, who speaks Welsh around here?

Who is willing to translate that for me?

Tell me, is there still the Q: Are we not men. A: No, we are Devo graffiti on the side of the Leamington Spa train station?

How ironic, the song of conquering empire sung by the defeated Welsh tribes. :)
